Aubrey is a wonderful doula. As first-time parents, my husband and I had so many questions and doubts both before and after the birth of our son. Aubrey was extremely helpful and patient and answered all of them! She guided us through the process with in-person and phone meetings. She helped us develop a birth plan and discuss our various options. She also made a gorgeous summary of our birth plan with images and icons to ease communication with nurses and doctors! Her encouraging text messages have been a true gift and helped me during the last week of pregnancy past my due date and the post-partum period (both challenging!).

Having Aubrey with us during L&D was also great. She helped us make informed decisions for me and my baby throughout. She supported me through my contractions and discreetly took a few pictures before and after the birth of our baby, for which we'll forever be thankful. She's been very thoughtful through the entire process: she even got us some food at 1 am after our son was born – the most delicious chicken nuggets I've had!

Aubrey is very professional but also willing to share insights from her own experience as a mother, which were really valuable. My husband and I are very grateful we've had Aubrey accompany us on this journey!

Saron was so incredible and we literally couldn’t have gone epidural-free without her. She brought peppermint oil that she put on a cold rag and it was a total savior. She completely focused on and anticipated my every need and Was by my side for every single contraction. She advocated for me and my requests and spoke on my behalf when I was laboring and couldn’t talk. She helped keep us motivated toward the goal of no epidural and pushed me to stay strong, but was also super nonjudgmental and informative when I was considering epidural halfway through. I labored for 14 hours and she held my hips and hair and played music and seriously everything I possibly needed for the ENTIRE time and made sure I didn’t feel like I was bothering her at all. My fiancé really didn’t want a doula in the beginning because he thought it would take away from him helping and from our special experience but he kept saying over and over how we couldn’t have done it without her and how amazing she was. Honestly, if you’re on the fence about a doula, consider this your sign to get one!!! The nurses and doctors were so hands-off since I wanted to be pretty drug-free (even though I was induced) that I would’ve felt really intimidated and alone without her help!!!

Melanie is our post partum doula and we couldn’t recommend her more. She is hardworking and passionate and it shows with every visit. She has helped me so much with adjusting to two kids now and managing my post partum anxiety with reassurance and encouragement. Melanie comes ready to assist with whatever our day brings and we can truly count on her. She helps with breastfeeding, newborn care, playing with older sibling, snacks/meals/meal prep, chores, game ideas for sibling, daily walks with both kids and so much more. We trust Melanie with our family and are so thankful god put her in our lives. 😀

Her experience with babies and maternal nature gave me the confidence and peace of mind that my daughter was in good hands while I got some much needed rest! I am so grateful for her help! 💗

I stumbled upon rooted birth from word of mouth and I am so glad I did!! Since Ashleigh wasn’t able to come into the hospital during this pandemic and I had plans to deliver unmedicated, our plan was to labor most at home.

Ashleigh came to our house several times to educate my husband and I for the process, signs of labor, and ideal positions. When my contractions came, she came to help make sure I was dilated enough to be admitted. We labored for 5 hours at home until she knew I was ready to go. This was my first baby and she played a huge role in keeping my environment calm and my husband even calmer. 😂

We laughed together, prayed together, and sang together. It was such a special experience for us.

Ashleigh is very educated, she pushed me to help my contractions strengthen. When we arrived at the hospital I was at 7cm, exactly what she wanted us to be at. A few hours later, our sweet Willow Grace was born.

I would recommend Ashleigh to anyone. She made my unmedicated birth possible & I am so thankful for her guidance and encouragement. I can’t wait for baby #2!!

Megan Taylor was our doula and she was simply amazing. I learned so much in our classes together in the months leading up to birth. She was great about checking in and careful to listen to our every question and concern, present and ready with a calm, comforting, encouraging advice.

I feel like she’s a permanent part of our family!
